The Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) has warned that Boko Haram might have infiltrated the areas where banditry now thrives.
The JNI, whose President-General is Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar 111, the Sultan of Sokoto, in a statement yesterday, condemned the attack on the Government Science College, Kagara, Niger State.
In the statement, Khalid Aliyu, secretary of JNI, said the bandits share the same ideas as Boko Haram insurgents.
“Make no mistake, the abduction is a classic example of the philosophical foundation of Boko Haram – that western education is forbidden.
“That is why their targets are always on boarding schools, especially science schools, considered atheistic in pedagogy,” he said.
