Managing Director of Nigerian Port Authority, Mrs Hadiza Bala-Usman has expressed surprise that her name was being mentioned among ‘Abuja politicians’ of Katsina State extraction allegedly undermining the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Governor Bello Aminu Masari at home.
Saying the allegation was false, she however said would await the finding of the panel already put in place to investigate issues relating to alleged anti-party activities by perceived adversaries of the governor within the ruling APC in Katsina resident in Abuja.
Hadiza, daughter of the late radical historian, Professor Yusuf Bala Usman spoke during an interview with Voice of America (VOA).
” I am really surprised that my name was included among those undermining the All Progressives Congress and Governor Masari because it is not true.
“I will be waiting for the outcome of the committee set-up by the party to investigate the issue”, she said.
Hajiya Hadiza Bala Usman also opened up for the first time regarding the rumours of her intention to contest for the seat of the Katsina State Governor in 2023.
She said she had no intention of contesting.
