As at 11:25pm, Wednesday 22nd April, 2020, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC ) announced 4 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ogun State.
This brings to total, 24 confirmed cases in the state at the time.
Of the 4 confirmed cases, 3 emerged from Ado-Odo/Ota LGA, while 1 was recorded in Ikenne LGA.
Close contacts of all 4 cases already identified are being observed in one of the State’s Isolation Centres, while tracing is ongoing to identify and quarantine all possible contacts.

So far, the Local Government Areas (LGAs) where cases have been confirmed and contacts identified remain 9. The LGAs include: Ipokia, Sagamu, Ewekoro, Ikenne, Yewa South, Ado-Odo/Ota, Obafemi Owode, Odogbolu, and Imeko Afon.
