Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola has rejoiced with Barrister (Ustaz) Zikrullah Olakunle Hassan on his recent nomination as the new Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Minister gave the felicitation when Barrister Hassan paid him a courtesy visit.
He said the NAHCON Chairman designate’s pedigree and rich background as an Islamic scholar, administrator and experience in Hajj Operations have prepared him for the tasks ahead at the National Hajj Commission.
While praying Allah to grant him a successful tenure at NAHCON, the Minister said Barrister Hassan has all that was needed to excel.
Barrister Hassan who is billed to face the Senate soon for confirmation thanked the Minister for giving him the opportunity to serve as Osun State Amirul Hajj/ Chairman of Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board throughout the eight years that Aregbesola was governor.
He promised not to disappoint President Buhari, the Minister and other stakeholders in the Hajj project on the confidence reposed in him.
