Governor of Katsina State Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, CFR has approved the appointment of Malik Anas as the Accountant General, State Ministry of Finance.
The appointment of the new Accountant General followed the retirement from service of former Accountant General.
Malik Anas is a professional Accountant with vast experience in Treasury Management.
Prior to his appointment, he was the Director Expenditure Control in the Ministry.
A press release signed by the Head of Civil Service of the State, Idris Usman Tune said that the appointment takes immediate effect.
Meanwhile, Governor Aminu Bello Masari has approved the posting of Alhaji Lawal Sani BK from Sub – Treasury to the office of the Accountant General as Deputy Accountant General (DAG) along with 5 other Directors in the Finance Ministry.
Until his new posting, Sani Lawal BK was the Sub – Treasurer in the same Ministry.
