The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has appointed Alhaji Isa Abdulmumin as the Acting Director of Corporate Communications Department of the bank.
Abdulmumin takes over from Osita Nwanisobi as head of the Corporate Communications Department following his (Nwanisobi’s) retirement from service on Friday.
Abdulmumin, a hitherto Deputy Director, who prides himself with the desire to be better than who he was yesterday,has been in the Corporate Communications Department of the CBN since he joined the bank and is considered to be a square peg-in-a-square hole when it comes to the banks corporate image management.
He enjoys the good will and cooperation of his colleagues in the department, banks, media and corporate society at large.
Osita Nwanisobi, who is handing over to Abdulmumin, took over from Isaac Okorafor in 2020, and before then, was a Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor, Financial System Stability (FSS), between 2009 and 2011./SHARE THIS
