Day after he was confirmed as the substantive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa few moments, ago met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, State House in Abuja.
Details of the meeting was not disclosed as at the time of filing this report but inside sources said it was not unconnected with Bawa taking briefs from the president on his (president’s) desire to further increase the tempo of the anti-corruption drive of the EFCC, now that the country has just exited recession, with a view to conserving more resources for government’s programmes./ SHARE THIS
