The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has warned it’s Computer Based Test (CBT) centres who are acting contrary to terms of their agreement by turning away candidates who obtained their ePINS elsewhere to desist or face sanctions.

JAMB in a statement in the latest edition of it’s weekly newsletter, JAMBulletin said the warning became necessary following series of complaints from the affected candidates.

The Board said it is also in possession of credible reports regarding activities of some of the centres who are vending ePINS along with the service charge of registration (N4,700) thereby depriving the candidates the right to choose where to go for registration.

JAMB said the most fraudulent practice occurs when some centres dictate what a candidate should use as a password which they then keep to gain access to the candidate’s data to perpetrate unwholesome acts.
