Kano State Police Command said it has apprehended 15 Imams over over breach of lockdown order.
Kano Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abdullahi Haruna confirmed the arrest on phone, he said that they were arrested at different locations of the metropolisThe Police noted that any religious leaders from both Islamic and Christian faiths who violated the lockdown order would be arrested.

Haruna added that 30 footballers have also been arrested for defying the lockdown order
