The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, today suspended its nine-month old strike but warned that the union would return to strike without notice if the government failed to meet its part of the agreement reached with the university lecturers.
Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, ASUU national president, announced today at a press conference in Abuja.
Even so, he said that reopening of the schools, considering the COVID-19 pandemic, lies with the Federal Government and Senate.
