Anarchy is just a matter of days, declare State of Emergency, Muslim group tells Buhari

A Muslim non-governmental  group has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to move swiftly and address the insecurity afflicting the nation.

The group, Al-Furqan in a letter to the president, a copy of which was made available to The State Online said “Your Excellency, Nigerians are right now too depressed to understand condemnation of killings and kidnapping everywhere. What Nigerians want is ACTION! “.

AGENDA FOR MR PRESIDENT
Al-Furqan is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political group of Muslim Professionals in Nigeria. We just congratulated your excellency over the recent electoral success and promised to watch and pray for your continuous success in office.

As a step towards the fulfillment of our promise, we hereby commence a series of Agenda Setting Advice as responsible citizens.

The first and most critical of Government responsibility is SECURITY. Your Excellency, it is not just that this has broken down every where in Nigeria, it is true to say we are in a structural civil war and wide spread Anarchy is just a matter of days.

Your Excellency, Nigerians are right now too depressed to understand condemnation of killings and kidnapping everywhere. What Nigerians want is ACTION!

THE AGENDA
Your Excellency, it is TIME to declare a State of Emergency.

It is TIME to give the heads of security agencies 40 Days Ultimatum to disclose, arrest and do the needful to the well known sponsors of these crimes and completely stop insecurities of all colours failing which they be removed and prosecuted.

Your Excellency, Nigerians are solidly behind you and God is with you as we continue to pray for your survival, safety and triumph over all forces of darkness.
