The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone XI comprising Osun Oyo and Ondo States, Mr Leye Oyebade has expressed satisfaction with the level of security provided during the ongoing voting exercise across the zone.
He spoke to journalists while monitoring the elections across the three states under his Command.
While expressing satisfaction with the conduct of the elections and security provided, he admonished voters to maintain the level of calmness and orderliness so far exhibited, promising that the police would sustain its present level of professionalism.
The AIG visited places like Ede, Ilesa, Ife, and some places in Osun State before visiting Akure, Owo and other areas in Ondo State. Places visited so far were calm. He was proceeding to Oyo State to monitor the elections there as at the time of filing this report.
