Alexis Sanchez is ready to sit tight and see out the remaining two years of his £500,000-a-week Manchester United contract in order to avoid a pay cut, according to reports.
The Chilean is currently on loan at Inter Milan and his future at Old Trafford is all-but-over, with the club desperate to sell him in the summer.

But, according to ESPN, while Sanchez is not keen to cut short his United nightmare, he does not want to take a wage cut and is willing to see out the remainder of his deal without playing another game for the club.
United are currently still paying a portion of Sanchez’s wages while he plays for Inter Milan, but they will go back to paying the full £500k-a-week pay packet when he returns from his stint in Serie A.
It has been reported that United are aware his astronomical wages may make it hard to find a buyer in the summer, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been told he may have to include Sanchez in his squad for next season.
