Women Farmers in Ekiti State yesterday offered fasting and prayers for peace and harmony in the country .
Women in Agriculture is a Non governmental Organization (NGO) that supports and develop women in the area of Agric.
The NGO had earlier declared One day fasting, and enjoined all Nigerians to observe the prayer on Sunday 7th of July .
The prayer session titled “A call Of Consistent Prayer For Nigeria”came up at Ajibade lane, Ado Ekiti, capital city of the State at the Corporate office of the Women farmers .
The Executive Director of the Women in Agriculture Rev . Mrs Funmi Agbaje Akinsola said
“the women farmers who have observed the Fasting and Prayers today have cried unto God for intervention to stop the Herds men/Farmers clashes / killings
“I believed that God has intervened ”
Mrs Agbaje Akinsola encouraged the members to be cautious and not to entertain any fair in their various farms
“.Nigeria is our motherland and we didn’t have any other country than her we must be seeking for her goodness.
” I can see new Nigeria with investors and Nigeria regain her Economy through Agriculture.
“There will be peace and harmony in the land and Nigeria will not be disintegrated.
“Prayer is the master KEY let’s keep on unlocking the goodness for Nigeria and Nigerians.” she stated.
