Governor Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar has pledged to accord priority attention to promotion of social infrastructure to rural communities across Jigawa State.
Speaking at the thanksgiving ceremony for his victory alongside other elected political office holders under the ruling APC, Governor Badaru thanked all those that contributed to his success, assuring to reward the state’s electorates positively.
“We intend to provide at-least basic necessities of life in major political wards across Jigawa State regardless of political inclinations,” he said.
He called for dedication, hard work, honesty and transparence in discharging their responsibilities in realizations of our set objectives.
“Being a custodian of your electorates, I urge all our political office holders to uphold their oath of allegiance with all sense of humility, fear of God, honesty, fairness and just in pursuance of meaningful developmental initiatives that will advance your constituencies forward,” he said.
Also, he enjoined them to redeem their campaign promises to their respective constituencies for the betterment of all and sundry.
