VP Osinbajo Commissions OGD’s Multi-Millon Naira Hotel In Abeokuta

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, has commissioned the Conference Hotel and Suites, Abeokuta, Nigerian Tribune reports.
The multi-million naira Hotel owned by former Ogun State Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel was confiscated for eight years by the Ibikunle Amosun’s administration in the state.
Those who attended the ceremony included Governor Dapo Abiodun; former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba; lotto magnate, Chief Kessignton Adebutu; Alake and Paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Dr. Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo; Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi; Olu of Ilaro, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle
Others were Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka; former minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro; Senator Babafemi Ojudu; Ogun State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt Hon. Olakunle Oluomo among others.
According to Osinbajo, tourism is increasingly becoming the driver of the global economy, hence the need to support the industry with investment on infrastructure.
He said the Federal Government is deliberately investing critically on infrastructure to aid the ease of doing business by private investors. This, he said, would position the country for accelerated economic growth.
