The University of Benin has approved February 1, 2021 as the resumption date for the 2019/2020 academic session.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the institution, Dr. Benedicta Ehanire, yesterday.
In it, she said the 2019/2020 session will run until the 1st of April 2021. “For the 2020/2021 amended calendar, fresh students are to undergo on-line clearance from April 5th,” the statement read.
The decision to reopen the school followed a meeting of the University’s Senate yesterday.
