The Tinubu-Shettima Team Abuja (TSTA) has congratulated the new Senate President, His Excellency, Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Honourable Tajudeen Abass and their deputies on their elections as leaders of the 10th National Assembly.
Also, the group felicitated with Senator George Akume on his appointment as Secretary to Government of the Federation, SGF by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
In a statement released yesterday, Chief Nathaniel Dosunmu, National Coordinator of TSTA, said: “We strongly want to put it on record that we share in a special way, the joy of his appointment being a pillar in our midst.
“We cannot but also rejoice with the eight eminent Nigerians whose track records have given them out as the ones who had served this country and became outstanding in their respective responsibilities at this time. They are still very filled with the zeal to give to this country, the best in their abilities to make Nigeria great.
“By this, we mean the newly appointed Special Advisers in the persons of Mr. Dele Alake, Special Adviser, Special Duties, Communications and Strategy; Mr. Yau Darazo, Special Adviser, Political and Intergovernmental Affairs; Mr. Wale Edun, Special Adviser, Monetary Policies; Mrs. Olu Verheijen, Special Adviser, Energy; Mr. Zachaeus Adedeji, Special Adviser, Revenue; Mr. Nuhu Ribadu; National Security Adviser; Mr. John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu, Special Adviser, Industry, Trade and Investment and Dr. (Mrs.) Salma Ibrahim Anas, Special Adviser, Health.”
Dosunmu said his group shares the principles of nationhood that occasioned the emergence of President Tinubu.
The statement noted further: “We say without any sense of prejudice that Senator Akume’s track records in public office in the past as a Governor, Minister, a Senator of the Federal Republic where he served as Senate Committee Chairman showcased him as the one who the cap actually fits as the SGF.
