Bandits around Kucheri town near the Zamfara State – Katsina State border have attacked and killed Professor Yusuf Sa’idu, DVC Research, Innovation and Development, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS).
News of the dastardly incident was posted by Mallam Ibrahim Sheme, director of Public Affairs of the National Open University, NOUN, Abuja.

Patrick Oguejiofor, an Adventist HealthCare affiliated community doctor specializing in internal medicine in Maryland, United States of America, said that government is paying little attention to the activities of bandits in the Northern parts of Nigeria.
“This is a terrible news. May Allah SWT console the family the Professor left behind,” he said.
