An Abeokuta, Ogun State based secondary school, Taidob College will represent Nigeria at the 2019 Junior Achievement Africa Competition in Ghana.
This was disclosed by the US Embassy in Nigeria in a statement.
The Embassy stated that “Friday, Junior Achievement Nigeria celebrated its 20th Anniversary. As part of the day-long celebration, 12 student-led companies from across Nigeria competed in the National Company of the Year Competition in Lagos.
“This year’s theme was ‘Activating Disruptors.’ The winner? Taidob College, Asero, Abeokuta, Ogun State, inventors of a gas leakage detector for use in homes, schools, and industry.
“These outstanding young people will represent Nigeria at the 2019 Junior Achievement Africa Competition in Ghana. Congratulations!”
