
….Government Swings Into Action

A gang of suspected killers are now feared to have arrived Kwara from neighbouring states which is attracting government pro-active action.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaiye said a group of suspected criminals were reported to have arrived Baruten Local Government from neighbouring state and camped in the Council Area.
Meanwhile, Governor AbdulRahman AbdukRazaq in his reaction said there would be zero tolerance by its government for any killer gangs in the state.
Speaking through Ajakaiye today the governor, however, said his government would welcome any Nigerian who wishes to make a decent and accord him a conducive space in the State.
“There would be zero tolerance for any individual or group of individuals to make life unbearable for others,” Abdulrazaq said
Ajakaiye added that government had dispatched powerful had dispatched powerful security personnel to the area.
“The government’s proactive steps have resulted in the immediate dislodgement of the suspected criminals.
“Government commends the Nigerian Army for helping to rid the area of the suspected criminals. Members of the public are urged to be vigilant and to always volunteer information in record time to continue to keep Kwara safe,” the statement added.
