Succour for nurse whose 2 legs were shattered, amputated in Owo terror attack

Succour has come the way of Ms. Margaret Attah, a nurse whose two legs were shattered and amputated in the recent terror attack at the St Francis’ Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State.


The explosives thrown by the terrorists shattered her legs, which were amputated to save her life.

Attah could barely mutter words when approached for interview by journalists.

Her colleagues, through the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), have presented her with cash gifts to help get her back to usual life.

National President of NANNM, Comrade Nnachi Michael, who presented the cheque to her at the Federal Medical Centre, Owo, condemned the attack and prayed for her quick  recovery as well as those of other affected victims.

Comrade Nnachi said the medical financial assistance to Nurse Margaret on behalf of the National leadership of NANNM was to enable her know that people care for her, promising that the body would not abandon her.

He praised the efforts of medical personnel and the Nursing community in Owo for the steps taken to ensure quick recovery of the victims.

Gift items were also donated by NANNM to other affected victims in various wards of the hospital.

State Chairman of NANNM, Comrade Kehinde Olomiye, also presented an undisclosed amount in cheque on behalf of the Ondo State Council to Margaret./SHARE THIS
