It was a sad new year for a middle-aged herbalist, Fadayomi Kebinde, when he reportedly died during a boastful sex challenge with a pastor’s wife at a hotel in Ikere, Ikere Local Government Area of Ekiti State.

The herbalist, popularly known as Ejiogbe, had boasted he would show superior black power to the white garment church pastor in the Ikere area of the state, on Monday, January 2, 2023, and went ahead to seduce the cleric’s wife for a sex romp.

Unknown to him, the pastor who had got hint of his boasting, had reportedly laced the wife with spiritual thunderbolt, aka “Magun” (don’t climb) in Yoruba culture, leading to the native doctor losing consciousness during the romp and dying thereafter.

“The woman raised an alarm after realising that the man had become motionless, prompting the hotel manager and some residents to race to the scene and rushing him to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead,” said a source.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Ekiti state, ASP Sunday Abutu, confirmed the incident, saying that investigations had already begun to unravel how it all happened, adding that the woman is already in police net.
