POLICE SEEK ASSISTANCE FOR WOMAN TERRORISTS SACKED FROM HOME

The Divisional Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force, Obantoko Abeokuta, has solicited public assistance for Mrs Gladys Imhonsili Cooker following terrorists’ attack on her residence.

In a Police Report dated 5th September, 2025, it was stated that on the 4th day of September, 2025, at about 1930hrs, Mrs Gladys Imhonsili Cooker aged 45 years, residing at No 43, Alogi Street, Obantoko Abeokuta, Ogun State Nigeria came to the Station and reported that at about 1730hrs that day, suspected terrorists visited their premises at the above address in Obantoko.

She stated further that the attackers entered their house shouting the names of her sister, Doris Imhonsili and her husband, Mr. Adebayo Adeniran Afeez.

The Police Report indicated: “They asked her to face down, slapped her husband, threatened to shoot everybody if they failed to produce Mr. Adebayo Adeniran Afeez, shortly after they have been brutally assaulted.”

“Mrs Gladys explained that she’s very worried about her life and other family members. Her sister’s husband, Mr Adebayo Adeniran Afeez, popularly known as one of the great farmers in Oyo Town has been their target over farmland dispute, which led her sister, Doris Agnes Imhonsili and her husband to fly out of the country for the safety of their lives and property.”

Consequently, the police enjoined everybody to “Kindly accord her any assistance she may require.”
