The Office of the Commissioner of Police, General Investigation, Lagos, has declared Mr. Abdulquadri Ariyo wanted for alleged involvement in a case of same sex, contrary to the Nigerian Criminal Code Section 214, 516 and 517.
The Police declaration dated 18 May 2022 said the offence was against the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Earlier, the Ikorodu Divisional Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force, Sagamu Road, Ikorodu, had asked Mr. Abdulquadri to report for questioning on 18th May 2022 on allegation of same sex contrary to Nigerian Criminal Code section 214, also known as Same Sex Prohibition Act 2014.
But he later declared wanted by theOffice of the Commissioner of Police, General Investigation, Lagos, on the same date.
The Police said the suspect resides in Ogijo, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
He is dark in complexion and is 21 years old with black eyes, black hair and is 5.8 ft tall.
“Anyone with useful information that can lead to his arrest should please inform the nearest Police Station for prompt apprehension,” the declaration notice said.
