Peterside appeals to Muslims to remain calm over demolished mosque

Director-General, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, Dr Dakuku Peterside, has called on the Muslim community in Rivers State to seek peaceful means to resolve issues relating to the demolished mosque in the state capital.

The NIMASA boss, who spoke in a statement by his media team on Sunday maintained that the state was open and free to all Nigerians, regardless of faith, tribe, and background.

Peterside said, “I want to appeal to my Muslim brothers to explore all options for a peaceful resolution. Rivers people are very accommodating, loving and caring. We have several Rivers people who are also Muslims.”
