Harry Kane has described Bayern Munich’s latest cup triumph as one of the greatest nights of his career after scoring a hat-trick in the final to lead FC Bayern Munich to victory.
The England captain admitted he had been looking forward to the occasion for a long time after hearing about the atmosphere and importance of the final from teammates who had previously experienced it with the German giants.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano on X on Sunday, he was quoted as saying, “This was definitely one of the best nights of my career. I was incredibly excited for this final.”
Kane produced a clinical display on the big stage, netting three times to seal an unforgettable performance and further cement his place as one of Europe’s top forwards.
“To score a hat-trick in a final is a very special feeling. It is a very special game,” he added.
The striker also reflected positively on his campaign in Germany, expressing pride in his performances and enjoyment at Bayern Munich.
“I’m extremely proud of that. I loved this season at Bayern,” Kane said.
Kane’s display capped off an impressive season for Bayern, with the forward continuing his outstanding scoring form since arriving from Tottenham Hotspur.
