Former Chairman of Oluyole Local Government Council of Oyo State, Kehinde Olatunji Olaosebikan, has reaffirmed his commitment to mobilising voters en masse for a resounding victory for President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
He made the commitment while declaring his aspiration to seek the All Progressives Congress (APC) endorsement to contest for the seat of Oluyole Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives at the weekly meeting of the party in Oluyole Local Council on Monday
Olaosebikan, a former Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the late Governor Lam Adesina, who donated a new secretariat to the APC in the council, assured the party members, who turned out in their large numbers, that he is mobilising support across party lines for the re-election of Tinubu in the 2027 election.
He said Nigerians would vote for Tinubu because of several reforms he had put in place through the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The former council chairman, while soliciting support for his ambition to represent the party in the coming election for the Oluyole Federal Constituency, said many people in the council had assured him that if he gets the ticket for the House of Representatives, they will vote for APC in all the coming elections in the council.
“Members of other political parties in Oluyole Local Council are already assuring me that if the APC gives me the ticket, they will mobilise their members not only for my elections but for all the APC candidates in next year’s election,” he said.
Olaosebikan, who spoke on the donation of the new secretariat for the APC in Oluyole Local Council, said that he considered it necessary for APC as a progressive party to have a better and more spacious place for its activities.
The new secretariat, according to him, would have offices for the party chairman, secretary, state party executives from the local, and spaces for all other officers.
He said that if elected, he would ensure good development for the Constituency.
He also promised to facilitate education support, employment, and skills acquisition programmes for the youths, as well as employment opportunities.
Besides, he said he would assist the indigent students to further their education and provide necessary support for the women.
Kehinde Olaosebikan, a prominent journalist, public relations expert, and politician from Oyo State who has consistently positioned himself as a staunch supporter and mobilizer for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Recently, he pledged to triple the votes for President Tinubu in his local constituency (Oluyole, Oyo State) for the 2027 election.
To achieve his aims, Olaosebikan has convened the PBAT-KO Grassroots Movement (PBAT means President Bola Ahmed Tinubu). The group is specifically dedicated to supporting Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda.”
At regular intervals, Olaosebikan defends and promotes Tinubu’s economic reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidies and local government autonomy reforms, describing them as necessary for national growth.
Having purchased and submitted the APC nomination form, the coast appears clear for the ebullient man to further impact Oluyole Federal constituency better.
