Chieftain of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has described unfolding developments in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as stranger than fiction.

Fani-Kayode who served as Minister of Aviation under former president Olusegun Obasanjo stated this in a tweet with reference to the defection of Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki from APC to PDP over political differences with Comrade Adams Oshiomhole; the Appeal Court ruling upholding the suspension of Oshiohole as APC National Chairman and the appointment of Senator Abiola Ajimobi who is said to be in coma, as APC acting National Chairman of APC.

According to him: “ On the day that Obaseki leaves @OfficialAPCNg, the Court of Appeal declares that Oshiomole is no longer Nat. Chairman of the party and Sen. Ajimobi, the man that has been declared Acting Nat. Chairman, ends up in a coma in the hospital. The whole thing is stranger than fiction.”
