Governor Aminu Bello Masari has received a donation of an ambulance and other medical facilities from the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry intervention initiative on the Covid-19 pandemic.
Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari told a delegation led by MD-NNPC in charge of medical services, Alhaji Awwal Rano who represented the Group Managing Director that Katsina state government appreciated the donation from the NNPC.
The Governor expressed the hope that more conglomerates and corporate organizations would emulate the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and assist government to overcome the spread of Covid-19 in the state.
Earlier, the representative of the Group Managing Director, Alhaji Awwal Rano explained that the donation is from Nigeria oil and gas industry intervention initiative on the Covid-19 pandemic.
He said that the care group that made the donation include oil producers Trade Section; independent petroleum producers; Department of petroleum producers Marketers Association among others.
Alhaji Awwal Rano expressed hope that the donation would be judiciously utilised to overcome the spread of Covid-19 and other infectious viruses.
