Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has raised alarm concerning the inhuman treatment being meted out to him at the detention of the Department of State Services (DSS), saying the secret police has not given him his essential drugs for the past nine days. This is apart from denying him food to further compound his health problem.

This was revealed by the IPOB leader’s Special Counsel, Barr. Aloy Ejimakor, after paying him a scheduled visit on Thursday, December 15, saying the DSS’ reason for this was, according to them, that they don’t have money to buy his food.

Ejimakor said: “Today, I visited #MNK in company of Prince Emma Kanu & Barr. Nnaemeka  Ejiofor. He instructed me to make it public that he has not been given his drugs for the past 9 days & he has not eaten today  because DSS says that they don’t have money to buy his food. #Sad/SHARE THIS
