… As Gombe overtakes Lagos in new infections
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, announced that there were 403 new cases on Sunday night, thus bringing the number of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 16,085.
A breakdown showed that Gombe State recorded more new cases than Lagos.
Of the 403 new cases reported by the NCDC last night, 73 new infections happened in Gombe while Lagos State came second with 68 new cases. Kano and Edo came third and fourth with 46 and 36 new cases respectively.
