
The case involving Sulaimon Shehu and Saheed Solala from Akala Mushin area of Lagos State alleged to have conspired to deal in 252 Kilograms of Cannabis Sativa has been adjourned till 19 April, 2024 for continuation of trial.
In a three count charge filed against the two defendants who were arraigned by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Prosecuting counsel M.I. Erondu, it was alleged that the duo of Sulaimon Shehu 47 and Saheed Solala 52 and others at large on or about 26 July, 2023 at Akala Mushin Area of Lagos State without lawful authority conspired to deal in 252 Kilograms of Cannabis Sativa.
It was further alleged that the two defendants and others at large on about 26 July, 2023 at Akala Mushin area of Lagos state being in the occupation and management of a shop at number 32 Igbarere Street, Mushin, Lagos State without authority cause the said shop to be used for the purpose of storing, processing, packaging, distribution and dealing in 252 Kilograms of Cannabis Sativa, a narcotic drugs similar to Cocaine, Heroin and LSD and thereby committed an offence, provided for and punishable under Section 12 of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Act Cap N30 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.
