Yusra Khadija Sanusi, daughter of the deposed Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi wishes that Allah will bless her with friendships as enduring and “pure” like the one between her father and Governor Nasiru El-Rufai of Kaduna.

@elrufai told me how he and my dad have been friends since they were teenagers. This is a friendship that has lasted through thick, thin, and accidental public service. I can only wish, hope and pray that Allah blesses me with friendships as pure as this.
Governor El-Rufai lifted the spirit of the ex- Emir following his deposition on Monday by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State.
He named him a member of the Kaduna State Investment Agency and Chancellor of the Kaduna State University.
He also visited him at Awe, Nasarawa State, where he was exiled to and took him to Abuja, enroute Lagos, after a Federal High Court in Abuja voided the banishment.
El-Rufai played similar roles when Sanusi removed as Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria in 2014 by the former president Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
