Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRazaq has asked the people to see the challenges of developing the State as enormous and daunting.
Because of this, he pleaded that every antic that seeks to pull apart as a people on the basis of religion or tribe be shunned.
The Governor made the call in his Eid-el-Malaud message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaiye on Monday.
His words; “As our administration gradually implements various strategies to tackle hunger and lack of basic amenities to build a 21st century state, the least that is expected from any quarter or group of individuals is any action, message or innuendoes capable of raising tension.
Such action he said, is also capable of “diverting attention from the common challenge of under development or our resolve to build a Kwara where no one is left behind.
“Our message on the occasion of this Maulid nabiyy, therefore, is for everyone to contribute their own quota to build a human community united by belief in and love of God.
“We hould also accommodation our differences go for a collective efforts to make life worth living for fellow human beings. These, in our opinion, were what the Prophet Mohammed lived for.”
He called the attention of every Kwaran and indeed Nigerians to the noble message of Prophet Muhammad which he was a message of peace, piety, truth, unity and universal brotherhood of man.
