Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has directed the Ministry of Justice to amend the panel code to death penalty for kidnappers in the state.

He dropped the hint on Thursday during the inauguration of a 16- man commission of enquiry headed on Kano 9 children kidnapped and sold in Onitsha, Anambra state .

According to him, the commission was given 30 days to complete and submit its report to the Governor.
