Juventus superstar Paulo Dybala has become the latest footballer to test positive for coronavirus.
Dybala is the third Bianconeri star to test positive, after defender Daniele Rugani and World Cup winner Blaise Matuidi.
His girlfriend, Oriana, has also tested positive for COVID-19.
They are currently in isolation together at the player’s home in Turin. Juventus also released a statement, which read: “The player, in voluntary home isolation since 11 March, will continue to be monitored.
“He is well and asymptomatic.”
Coronavirus has brought European club football to a standstill, with Serie A matches in Italy suspended indefinitely alongside all other sporting events in the country.
The English Premier League, German Bundesliga and Ligue 1 in France have also been suspended as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This summer’s Euro 2020 international tournament has also been postponed until 2021.
