A self-determination protest organized by the Omo Oduduwa United, few moments ago,

rocked the various cities of Osun State with youths joining in large numbers to major towns where residents were joining them upon discovering the purpose of the  protest.

The agitation which began in the morning soon became larger this afternoon, especially when Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as ‘Sunday Igboho,’ arrived the scene at about 2pm with his supporters, thus making the exercise much bigger. Igboho’s arrival further added more fillip to the exercise as agitators started chanting his praise.

The rally was closely monitored by different security operatives to ensure safety while the agitators were gathering at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park after moving round the major streets.

The agitators converged at the ‘November 27 Bridge’ on Ibadan Expressway, Osogbo with placards of various inscriptions, and further, moved in numbers to the town where residents were joining them  while chanting various songs to demand the establishment of Yoruba Nation and bearing placards of various inscription and large banners with logo of Oduduwa./ SHARE THIS
