In a swift invasion akin to a best seller action movie, kidnappers have abducted the Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Kogi State, Alhaji Wakili Damina.
Damina was abducted on April 30, 2021 by some armed men clad in army camouflage, according to the state Secretary of MACBAN, Mr Adamu Abubakar, who disclosed this in Lokoja, Tuesday.
According to him, the abductors, numbering about eight, came in a white bus at about 12 noon and forcefully whisked away the Chairman from his house at Chikara village, Kogi Local Government Area.
“I was informed of the incident about an hour later by the younger brother of Damina who claimed he witnessed the incident, and immediately, I called the phone number of the missing Chairman, but it rang out,” he informed, adding that Damina’s number was later switched off completely during a repeat call about an hour later.
Confirming the incident, Kogi police authorities said they are spreading their dragnets with a view to tracking down the fleeing hoodlums and their captive./ SHARE THIS
