Justice Donatus Okorowo gave the verdict today, Friday, April 22, in a suit urging him to declare vacant Dogara’s  seat at the House of Representatives. Dogara is currently representing Bogoro/Dass/Tafawa Balewa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State.

The judge considered the plaintiff’s plea on the ground that the defendant, Dogara, defected from the Peoples Democratic Party “which sponsored and provided him the platform to contest his seat as a member of the House of Representatives.”

Recall that the court had, on March 23, shifted judgment in view of a suit filed in August 2020 by the Incorporated Trustees of United Global Resolve for Peace Organisation, through its counsel, Michael Okejimi, Esq. of Messrs. Micheal Okejimi & Co. Law Empire. This is in addition to PDP’s separate suit against Dogara’s defection to APC./SHARE THIS
