The Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) has commended Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Professor Is-Haq Oloyede for the series of initiatives he has put in place aimed at improved service delivery.
Director-General of BPSR, Mr. Dasuki Ibrahim Arabi gave the commendation when he visited JAMB Headquarters in Abuja recently.

“JAMB is an agency of government and the Bureau of Public Service Reforms is the engine room of reforms at the federal level in Nigeria. As part of mandate, we have come to see how JAMB is working. We have also come to celebrate with the Registrar the success story around JAMB and the wonderful work he has done,” he said, according to the latest edition of JAMBulletin, a weekly publication of the Board, made available to The State Online by Dr Fabian Benjamin, Head of Media of JAMB.
Arabi added that “ We are equally here to showcase our newly-developed instrument called the Self Assessment Tool (SAT) which is a facility that enables organizations to assess themselves in terms of what they have done or not. By so doing, gaps can be easily identified and solutions proffered in real time.
He said the mission of the Bureau was to facilitate the building of Nigeria’s public service into a highly functional, professional, customer-focused and result-oriented institution.
Responding, Professor Oloyede while also commending BPSR said “ As the engine room, the Bureau is growing from strength to strength and this is a good thing because this would assist the Bureau to contribute tremendously to the development of the country.”
He charged the Director-General to midwife the synergy between JAMB and the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to form a formidable force in the fight against all forms of registration infractions, stating that registration infraction is the foundation of examination malpractice and other unwholesome acts perpetrated by candidates.
