Mrs Sola Awojobi-Onayiga, an A list actress in Nollywood popularly known as Ireti Catering Practical in the famed Sitcom,Fuji House of Commotion has asked her supporters to vote for Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu during Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Lagos State.
Mrs Awojobi-Onayiga was the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate in 2015 for the Lagos State House of Assembly IKORODU Constituency 1.
Now, she has decided to throw her support for Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to be the next Governor of Lagos State,and also SOB Agunbiade, also of the APC to be elected to represent her constituency.
‘Ireti’ was brought into politics by her husband, Pastor Tosin Onayiga, a former political stalwart of the old the SDP.
Both have declared to support Sanwo-Olu’s and his government when elected,especially in the areas of Health and environmental awareness and monthly entertainment package for Lagos state workers to unwind.
Pastor Tosin Onayiga is a journalist and the Convener of International Restoration Book and Arts Festival.
With his wife,they run Academy of Creative Arts,IKORODU.
The Academy was responsible for proposing the Festival play for Lagos @50 and performed Rasheed Gbadamosi’s Echoes From The Lagoon at IKORODU for the Festival.
