Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reduced the work days to three in Lagos State for civil servants from Level 1 to 14, and four days for those from levels 15 to17.
Sanwo-Olu, who said the reduction of working days is to ease the current economic hardships on Lagosians, spoke during a chat with media executives in Alausa, Lagos, over current economic realities in the country and other issues affecting the state particularly.
The governor used the chat with the media to share some key policy changes for the welfare of all Lagosians in the face of the economic hardship in the country.

The governor, during the live broadcast tagged: Sanwo-Olu Speaks, discussed blue and red lines rails, which would be launched on February 29, 2024, by President Bola Tinubu.
He took time to discuss other means of transportation, including water transport development and the Fourth Mainland Bridge, from Ikorodu to Victoria Island.
Sanwo-Olu unfolds major distributive lines to share palliatives, including rice, garri and tomatoes state-wide to Lagosians.
The governor also denied the insinuation that house demolition in Lagos is ethnic bias. He maintained that while structures would be put in place to ensure that wrong and illegal buildings do not come at all, the state government has been guided by the rule of law in its demolition exercises in order more catastrophic occurrences.
