Manchester United has been dealt a heavy blow in their pursuit of Red bull Salzburg’s Braut Haarland as the teen striker has agreed personal terms with Turin based,Juventus.United had been favourites to land the teenage sensation but now look set to miss out on him despite the player holding talks with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Haaland has scored an astonishing 28 goals from 22 games in all competitions this season and has attracted interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe. According to Tuttosport, Juventus have won the race for his signature, having reached an £6.8million agreement with the player in the days after Christmas. The Italian outlet claim Juve have strong connections with Salzburg and that Mino Raiola is working on the deal to bring him to Italy.
Juventus are said to have activated his £26m release clause along with Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and RB Leipzig.Solskjaer has identified five attacking targets to sign in January and Haaland, who he knows well having worked with him during his days at Molde, was one of his top ones.
