Former Speaker of the House of Reps, Alhaji Ghali Umar Na’Abba, is dead, aged 65.
The former Speaker of the House of Representatives under the Fourth Republic, battled an illness and died in the early hours of Wednesday.
In 1999, Na’Abba, a native of Kano State, was chosen to serve in the House of Representatives following the resignation of Salisu Buhari over certificate forgery.
Na’Abba recently joined the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, the main opposition party, after leaving the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
