…THREATENS TO DEDUCT SAME FROM BUDGETARY ALLOCATIONS WHERE MDAs FAIL TO COMPLY/ SHARE THIS
The Federal Inland Revenue Service has asked all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of the Federal, State and Local Governments to remit all outstanding tax liabilities to the Service or will be compelled to do so through deduction from the budgetary allocation of the defaulting MDAs.

The notice given on Monday April 26, 2021 stated that all payments must be done within 60 days.
The Service also stated that penalties and interests on outstanding taxes shall be recovered along with the principal tax liabilities.
