FBI arrests Forbes-rated Nigerian entrepreneur over $12 million fraud

 Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the United States of America (USA) has arrested a Nigerian entrepreneur, Obinwanne Okeke, over allegation of conspiracy to commit fraud of over $12 million.

A special agent employed by the United States Department of Justice, Marshall Ward, disclosed this in an affivadit deposed at the court on Friday.
Various sources reported that Okeke’s arrest was effected after representatives of Unatrac Holdings Limited filed a complaint for allegedly being victimised in the fraud.

Okeke is said to be the second Forbes Africa under 30 to be fingered in a fraud case this year.The 31-year-old founder of Invictus Group was listed by Forbes as one of “30 Entrepreneurs Under 30 to Watch” in 2016.
He was also listed among 100 Most Influential Young Africans in 2018.
