FAKE COMPANY IN TARABA DUPES 6,000 JOB SEEKERS

The Taraba State Government has warned citizens of the state to stop patronizing a company promising false job offers as it has duped about 6,000 job seekers.
A release signed by Mr Bala Dan Abu, Special Adviser to the Governor (Media and Publicity) read:
“The Taraba State Government wishes to inform the general public of the existence of a company in the state which specializes in duping people looking for employment opportunities.
“The company which goes by the name NATIONAL TASKFORCE has been advertising fake employment opportunities and urging men and women to apply to be engaged.
“Already, about 6,000 applicants have fallen victim of the false promise of job offers for which each of them was charged N6,500.
“Government wishes to state emphatically that this employment project is a scam and warns the public not to patronize the company in any way.”
