One of the drivers of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, has died this morning in a ghastly auto crash on Oke Imesi Ekiti road under reconstruction by the Federal Road Maintenance Agency, FERMA.
This paper gathered that the driver (names withheld) ran into loose chippings and tumbled several times.
Sources close to the palace of the Owa Ooye of Oke Imesi, the traditional ruler of the town, told this paper that the road should have been completed a long time ago but finance officials of FERMA have refused to release funds to the contractors handling the road’s rehabilitation.
