A member of the board of the Lagos based Ethics and Leadership Academy, Dr Tunde Akanni has said the organisation is ready to provide training for professionals and public officials on best practices.
Dr Akanni who is also a senior lecturer in journalism at the School of Communication, Lagos State University (LASU), stated this recently during an edition of Lunch Time Discourse, a current affairs program on Vanguard Television with the topic ‘ Oshiomhole vs Obadeki:The Politics of Certificates.’
Decrying the poor ethical standard in Nigeria’s public life, Dr Akanni called for zero tolerance by the citizenry for politicians parading fake and doctored certificates.
The university don said Nigeria would achieve progress when the rulers and the ruled uphold the rule of law and high ethical standards, adding that the Ethics and Leadership Academy is poised to play a major role in the attainment of these in days ahead.
